5th Annual Fundraiser Macaroni Dinner set for October 22, 2016

Mark your calendars and make your reservations soon! The 5th Annual Saint Matthew Knights of Columbus Fundraiser Macaroni Dinner is set for Saturday, October 22, 2016 following the 4:00 Mass at St. Matthew Church in Norwalk.

This year’s mouth-watering menu will include fresh macaroni (of course!), meatballs, sausage, salad and bread, with plain macaroni (with butter) available for children. Soft drinks, water, and a delicious dessert are all included in the cost of admission. In addition, there will be beer and wine available for adults to purchase if they wish.

Anyone who brings a non-perishable food item with them that evening (to donate to the St. Matthew Food Pantry) will be included in a raffle for a special door prize.  In addition, there will also be a 50/50 raffle that evening.

The cost for adults this year is $18.00, while for children 10 years or younger it is $7.00 (there is no charge for children 3 and under).

Last year’s macaroni dinner was a huge success, with a large crowd and over $3000.00 raised.  A wonderful evening was had by all. Even more importantly, the funds raised at the dinner enabled Council 14360 to continue its support of many worthy organizations in the area, including:St. Matthew Church, Malta House, Notre Dame Convalescent Home, Homes for the Brave, Fisher House, Our Lady of Solace in Coney Island NY, All Saints Catholic School, Star Inc., Al’s Angels, Diocese of Bridgeport – Respect Life Ministry & Family and Children’s Agency- Norwalk.
