Recently, a number of Brothers from Council 14360 donned their aprons and barbecue mitts in order to help support the youth of St. Matthew Church in Norwalk.
On Sunday, June 12, a group of Knights volunteered to host a year-end barbecue for the CREW, the youth group of St. Matthew Church.
Then on Sunday, July 10, the Council hosted a barbecue lunch for all of the young pilgrims (and their families) of the Bridgeport Diocese who will be attending World Youth Day in Poland this month.
In both cases, a good time was had by all (both those who helped serve and those who were served). “It was an honor for our Council to help support the youth of St. Matthew and the Bridgeport Diocese by helping put on these events,” stated Grand Knight Scott Criscuolo. “These young people are the future of the Church, and we are always ready to support them in any way we can.”
Many thanks to all of the Brother Knights and family members who helped make these events successful!
